How do I change my theme?

The Slingshot Portal supports both Dark Mode and Light Mode to help users customize the interface for comfort and accessibility. Dark Mode is the default theme, but you can switch to Light Mode at any time in your account settings.

Change the Portal Theme

To switch between Dark Mode and Light Mode:

  1. Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the portal.

  2. Open the Application section.

  3. Locate the Dark Theme toggle.

  4. Turn the toggle off to switch to Light Mode, or on to return to Dark Mode.

Your preference will be saved automatically.

Why Use Light Mode?

Some users prefer Light Mode because it can:

  • Improve visibility in bright environments

  • Provide higher contrast for reading text

  • Reduce eye strain for users who prefer lighter interfaces

Accessibility preferences vary, and the portal allows you to choose the theme that works best for you.

Does the Portal Remember My Preference?

Yes. Once you change the theme, your preference will be saved to your account and automatically applied the next time you log in.
