Coming Soon

Analytics Suite

A standardized analytical presentation layer that converts processing outputs into interpretable intelligence products such as dashboards, alerts, trend views, and predictive risk views. Current Analytics Suite offerings include Agatha analytics views, RAPTOR analytics views, and Brightness Trends.

Operations Suite

Unified operational monitoring and workflow orchestration for mission execution, event management, and automated decision support

TALOS AI for Collision Avoidance

The Thinking Agent for Logical Operations and Strategy, an autonomous AI capability that powers realistic satellite behavior in training and simulation while extending decision support to live spacecraft operations through continuous environmental assessment and course-of-action selection.

Object Catalog and Tracking Data

Object
A space asset (e.g., satellite, debris) tracked within the platform.

Tracking
Monitoring the position and movement of space objects over time.

Ephemeris
A dataset describing the predicted position of an object at specific times.

TLE (Two-Line Element Set)
A standardized format used to describe an object’s orbit.

OCM KVN

Orbit Comprehensive Message (Keyword=Value Notation)

TDM KVN

Tracking Data Message (Keyword=Value Notation)

Anomaly Analytics

Analysis
The process of querying and interpreting data to identify trends, anomalies, or insights.

Relative Interest
A score representing how unusual the object’s recent behavior is.

Outlier
An object whose behavior differs significantly from the rest of the population.

Longitude Drift Rate
How quickly a GEO object is moving east or west from its expected position.

Longitude
Where a GEO object is positioned along the geostationary arc.

Inclination
The tilt of the orbital plane.

Altitude
The orbital height of the object.

Semi Major Axis

A measure of orbit size. Changes over time can indicate that an object’s orbit is shifting due to maneuvers or other orbital effects.

Close Approach
How near the object comes to other objects.

Apparent Magnitude
How bright the object appears from Earth.

Photometric Phase
How brightness changes with viewing angle and illumination geometry.

Cluster / Shell / Ring
Reference populations used to compare the object’s behavior with peers or with the broader orbital environment.

Global Sensor Network (GSN)

Slingshot Global Sensor Network (SGSN)
Slingshot’s proprietary network of sensors that collects high-accuracy orbital data.

Observation
A recorded measurement of an object captured by a sensor.

State Vector
A data point describing an object’s position and velocity at a specific moment.

Catalog Coverage
The extent to which objects are tracked and identified within the dataset.

Latency
The time delay between an observation and when it becomes available in the platform.

Data Suite

Discover
A feature used to search and explore available space objects and datasets.

Lists
Custom groupings of space objects created by users for organization and monitoring.

View Sources
A tab that shows the data sources powering your results (e.g., public vs proprietary data).

Data Source
The origin of the data (e.g., Space-Track, GSN).

Seradata

Slingshot’s foundational satellite and launch intelligence database, used to enrich platform data, metadata, analytics, and AI-driven workflows.

Digital Space Twin

Digital Space Twin
A dynamic representation of space objects and their behavior for monitoring and analysis.

Bookmark
A saved reference to a specific object for quick access.

List
A collection of multiple objects grouped together for tracking or analysis.

Anomaly Detection
Identification of unusual or unexpected behavior in space objects.

Alerts & Activity

Alert
A notification triggered by a significant event (e.g., anomaly, maneuver, launch).

Recent Activity
A feed displaying recent alerts, updates, and events.

Anomaly
An unexpected change in an object’s behavior, such as orbital deviation.

Usage & Billing

SPU (Slingshot Processing Unit)
The standard billing unit used across the Slingshot platform. SPUs represent the consumption of compute, data processing, and platform resources.

Credits Remaining
The number of SPUs available in your account.

Plan
Your subscription tier (Free , Standard, Pro or Enterprise), which determines available features and SPU allocation in the Portal.

Navigation & Interface

Portal Main
The main landing page showing high-level metrics, alerts, and quick actions.
